Hands on with Galaxy S2 (sprint) and why the Bionic went back
Just returned my phone to Best Buy today. Had the Droid Bionic for just under 2 weeks and I returned it for a few reasons:
- Screen is a Pentile display which shows jagged edges on moving scenes in movies.
- Not 100% smooth on everything I would try to do
- Battery life not exceptional which I would expect from a brand new phone
- For $299 I should be extremely satisfied with my phone.
While I was returning this phone I got a hands on look with the Epic Touch 4G on Verizon which is also known as the Galaxy S2. This phone rocks and here is why:
- GORGEOUS display screen.
- Amazing interface and quickness between screens
- 4.5” display BLOWS the Bionics display out of the water
- Snappy response to everything i threw at it in the time I had my hands on it.
I really am hopeful that Verizon is going to get a Galaxy of sorts in the upcoming months. I have a Droid as a backup phone so I should be able to test any new phones and hopefully fall in love with them. Until then, I sit waiting and hoping.
